<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which can be mounted on a hanging ceiling, and where a foreign substance hardly enters even when the luminaire is directly mounted on the ceiling.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes: an adapter 2 connected to a hanging ceiling 4 fixed at a ceiling 3; and a lighting fixture 1 which is powered via the hanging ceiling 4 and the adapter 2. The adapter 2 has: a connector part 21 connected to the hanging ceiling 4; and a holder part 22 joined to the lighting fixture 1. The lighting fixture 1 has two engaging holes 10 opening in a horizontal direction and in different directions respectively. The holder part 22 has two engaging claws 220 for supporting the lighting fixture 1 by being engaged in the engaging holes 10 one by one. As the lighting fixture 1 does not require a hole for the adapter 2 to be inserted, so that even when the lighting fixture 1 is directly mounted on the ceiling, a foreign substance hardly enters the lighting fixture 1.</p> |
