摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sensitizer fine particle dispersion which can be performed safely under an atmospheric pressure even when stearic acid amide is used as a sensitizer, and does not accompany a legal obligation of maintenance; a sensitizer fine particle dispersion obtained by the production method; a mixed dispersion composition for a thermal recording layer using the sensitizer fine particle dispersion; and a thermal recording body using the mixed dispersion composition.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a sensitizer fine particle dispersion for a thermal recording body comprising the steps of: mixing stearic acid amide and a sensitizer other than the stearic acid amide in a mass part ratio of 95:5 to 51:49; heating and melting the obtained mixture in emulsifier-dispersed water to integrate and atomize by emulsification the stearic acid amide and the sensitizer, or heating and melting the mixture to atomize by emulsification a melted mixture, in which the stearic acid amide and the sensitizer are integrated, in the emulsifier-dispersed water; and crystallizing sensitizer particles from the emulsified fine particles by quick chilling of the obtained emulsified dispersion.
