PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity and excellent cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A spherical composite particle includes a plurality of particles containing silicon and a plurality of pieces of scaly graphite, and is characterized in that: an average particle diameter of the complex particles is 5-50 μm; an average particle diameter of the particles containing silicon is 2-5000 nm; a major diameter of at least a part of the pieces of the scaly graphite is twice or more as large as the particle diameter of the composite particle; and the pieces of the scaly graphite are folded in the composite particle. A manufacturing method of the composite particles includes a step of colliding the plurality of particles containing silicon with the plurality of pieces of scaly graphite in the air flow to form the spherical composite particles. |
