PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle that is hard to be deformed even in manufacture by injection molding.SOLUTION: An optical receptacle 120 comprises: first optical surfaces for making incident light emitted from light-emitting elements respectively; second optical surfaces for emitting the light being incident on the first optical surfaces toward an end face of optical transmission bodies; a third optical surface 122 for reflecting the light being incident on the first optical surfaces toward the second optical surfaces; multiple first recesses 124 formed on a surface on which the second optical surfaces are disposed; and multiple second recesses 125 formed on a surface opposed to the surface on which the first recesses 124 are disposed. The multiple first recesses 124 and the multiple second recesses 125 are oppositely disposed so as to make center axes thereof aligned with each other.
