<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that can easily manufacture silver coated copper powder coated with a homogenous and accurate silver layer.SOLUTION: Silver coated copper powder has a core particle consisting of copper and a silver coat layer on the surface of the core particle, and its content of sulfur is 5-500 ppm. A manufacturing process of the copper powder comprises: a first step performing displacement plating by contacting the core particle consisting of copper with silver ion underwater, making silver separate on the surface of the core particle and getting precursor particle; and a second step contacting the precursor particle, silver ion and reducing agent of the silver ion underwater, and making silver further separate on the surface of the precursor particle. In the first step, before contacting the silver ion and the core particle contact, surface treatment of the core particle is performed by adding organic sulfonic acid in the water that the core particle is dispersing.</p> |
