<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical pencil which enables writing leads to be inserted rapidly from a lead storage part into the lead holding part of a chuck body in a lead delivery mechanism and writing leads to be delivered favorably.SOLUTION: A mechanical pencil comprises a lead tank having a lead storage part 28 that stores a plurality of writing leads and a relay pipe 13 arranged from the front end of the lead tank to a lead delivery mechanism arranged in a mechanical pencil tip, where a lead insertion hole 29 is formed which enables writing leads to be inserted into a communication part between the lead tank and the relay pipe with the inner diameter of the lead insertion hole set at the inner diameter of the relay pipe or less.</p> |
