<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical instrument for dental implant capable of decreasing time and labour required for installing an abutment and a screw in a fixture.SOLUTION: A surgical instrument 1 is used for installing a cylindrical abutment 5 and a screw 6 in a fixture 4. The surgical instrument 1 for dental implant includes a driver 21 and a carrier 22. The driver 21 is formed from a high rigidity material such as metal and applies rotation torque to the screw 6. The carrier 22 is formed from an elastic material such as synthetic resin. The carrier 22 is held by the driver 21 and elastically holds the abutment 5 into which the screw 6 is inserted.</p> |
