PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmitter or the like capable of simply and surely performing radio transmission using magnetic coupling.SOLUTION: The radio transmitter is arranged outside an organism, and can perform radio transmission using magnetic coupling to an intravital observation device inside the organism. The radio transmitter includes: a magnetic field generation part having a plurality of flat coils inside with each coil surface arranged so as to be located on the same plane or with the coil surfaces arranged in the shape of a layer such that the coil surfaces are in parallel to each other; a power source part configured so as to supply current to be made to flow to the plurality of flat coils; a phase switching part configured so as to perform operation for supplying current supplied from the power source part to the plurality of flat coils while switching the phases of the current; and a control part configured so as to perform control for sequentially repeatedly switching states of the current made to flow to the plurality of flat coils at every predetermined period over the power source part and the phase switching part.
