<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize accurate axle weight measurement by using a plurality of wheel weight meters and enable the accurate axle road measurement to be continued even if any of the plurality of wheel weight meters runs into trouble.SOLUTION: A vehicle axle measuring apparatus 10 is equipped with three pairs of paired right and left wheel weight meters 22 and 24, that is, altogether six wheel weight meters S1L, S2L, S3L, S1R, S2R and S3R. Based on the measured wheel weight values W1L, W2L, W3L, W1R, W2R and W3R given by these wheel weight meters S1L to S3R, a final measured value WX of the weight wX of each wheel axle of a vehicle 100 is obtained. In this way, accurate axle weight measurement is realized. At the same time, trouble diagnosis is performed to check whether or not any of the wheel weight meters S1L to S3R has run into trouble. If any trouble occurrence is detected, the final measured weight value WX is figured out in a way matching the trouble, and axle load measurement is continued, as it were, tentatively.</p> |
