PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that display of door opening/closing buttons of a conventional elevator is often distinguished by two Chinese characters meaning "open" and "close" or directions of two triangles on an identical button, and it is often hard to distinguish one from the other, since similar characters or figures are drawn on small opening/closing buttons.SOLUTION: On a door opening button of an elevator, in addition to a notation of "OPEN" or "Hiraku" (in Hiragana), an illustration which recalls a mental image of "open", "expand", or "large", and is of a story, an animal or plant, or a natural phenomenon that is widely known is displayed or a seal of such an illustration is stuck. On a door closing button, in addition to a notation of "CLOSE" or "Tojiru" (in Hiragana), an illustration which recalls a mental image of "close", "narrow", or "small", and is of a story, an animal or plant, or a natural phenomenon that is widely known is displayed or a seal of such an illustration is stuck. Thus, it becomes easy to discriminate the opening/closing buttons. |
