PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently output printing of a report on maintenance inspection of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus performs an image-formation output of a report on maintenance inspection. The image forming apparatus includes: an information reception section 131 for acquiring information which is an output instruction of the report and includes the content of a work executed in the maintenance inspection; a report generation section 132 for acquiring internal information to be information managed in the image forming apparatus and information about the state of the image forming apparatus and generating report construction information; and a job generation section 135 for generating a printing job to cause an image forming mechanism to execute the image-formation output of the report on the basis of the report construction information.
