<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components to reduce cost, while ensuring soundness of a system.SOLUTION: A multi-core processor having a plurality of processor cores includes: a data transfer unit which transfers data; and fault detection means which detects a fault. Each of the processor cores executes arithmetic processing on the basis of one value input externally, to compare results thereof with each other. The data transfer unit outputs a signal to the fault detection means, on the basis of a comparison result of the processor cores. The fault detection means detects a fault, on the basis of the signal input from the data transfer unit.</p> |
