<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally supply power according to a state of use of option devices, in a system including the plural option devices.SOLUTION: A power supply control apparatus 3 of a system 1 compares a continuous unused time calculated for each of option devices from input job information with power-saving transition time determined for the option devices, to cause an option device to enter power-saving state timely before the lapse of the power-saving transition time when the continuous unused time is longer. When the option device is in use by a running job, the option device is turned off when the running job ends. Power-saving effect is improved, accordingly.</p> |
