PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material having high strength and excellent in heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: A heat insulation material includes: aerogel particles 1; an adhesive agent 2 bonding the aerogel particles 1; and a composite adhesive body 3 whose heat fusible adhesive component 3a is coated with a protective film 3b. The aerogel particles 1 are bonded in a punctiform manner by the adhesive agent 2. The composite adhesive body 3 and a heat insulation body 4, formed from the aerogel particles 1 and the adhesive agent 2, are integrated with each other. The composite adhesive body 3 is preferably arranged in a punctiform manner between the aerogel particles 1.
