PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple wall structure that steadily purifies contaminated water and lower the contaminant concentration in a closed water area with contaminated water.SOLUTION: A wall structure for preventing contaminant diffusion includes a closing member 20 that almost closes a water area with contaminated water and a purifying wall part 10 formed by installing zeolite-based concrete panels 30 continuously inside the water area closed by the closing member 20, and purifies the contaminated water in the almost closed water area and prevents leakage of the contaminated water containing contaminants from leaking outside the water area. The zeolite-based concrete panels 30 may be installed as replaceable panels. Also, a plurality of purifying wall parts 10 may be installed.
