PICTURE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT METHOD AND SYSTEM OF ULTRASONIC MEDICAL IMAGE BASED ON MULTISCALE

The present invention relates to an image quality improvement method and system of an ultrasound medical image based on multi-scale. More particularly, the image quality improvement method comprises: a step where an image decomposition unit receives an ultrasound medical image from the outside, and decomposes the same into a plurality of scale areas to allow the received ultrasound medical image to have different image features from each other; a step where a filter performs different filtering from each other with respect to the decomposed scale areas; and a step where an image composition unit composes the filtered scale areas in order to reconfigure the ultrasound medical image. According to the above-mentioned configuration, the image quality improvement method and system of the present invention can decompose the ultrasound medical image into the multi-scale and then, removes speckle noise through the different filtering treatment from each other, thereby improving the image quality of the ultrasound medical image.
