A resonant tank selective bi-directional resonant circuit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a primary circuit having a first power source or a first load; a secondary circuit having a second load or a second power source; a transformer capable of relaying power between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit in both directions; a first resonant tank connected to a primary coil of the transformer; a second resonant tank connected to a secondary coil of the transformer; a first switch to selectively connect one output end of the primary circuit to the first resonant tank or the primary coil of the transformer; and a second switch to selectively connect one output end of the secondary circuit to the second resonant tank or the secondary coil of the transformer.
