PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a squid processed food, capable of obtaining an outer appearance shape for calling demands by suppressing deformation by heating of a squid opened body provided with notches, and a squid processed food.SOLUTION: A method for producing a squid processed food 100 includes: providing a plurality of linear first notches 11 inclined in an angle range of 60°±15° in a clockwise direction to a body length direction Z, on a surface 1e of a frozen squid opened body 1 of a flat shape, made by cutting and opening the trunk of squid; providing a plurality of linear second notches 12 inclined in an angle range of 60°±15° in a counterclockwise direction to the body length direction Z so as to cross the first notches 11; and applying burnt marks 13 by heating the squid opened body 1 in a frozen state. |
