PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a foam molded body having improved mechanical strength and excellent appearance.SOLUTION: The method for producing a foam molded body comprises melt-kneading a resin composition containing 100 pts.wt. of olefin resin and 0.01-1 pt.wt. of carbon material including at least one kind of a flaked graphite and a carbon nanotube in the presence of a foaming agent and then injecting the melt-kneaded resin composition into a mold in which the resin composition is foam molded. By the method, the foam molded body having fine air bubbles uniformly dispersed therein and having excellent mechanical strength and appearance can be provided.
