<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which can improve processability, fuel economy, rubber strength, resistance to scratch advance and steering stability in a well balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire is prepared by compounding 10 to 40 parts by mass of carbon black having a CTAB (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) specific surface area of 30 to 100 m/g in 100 parts by mass of a rubber component which comprises a butadiene rubber (1) having a cis content of 96 mass% or more and a weight average molecular weight of 550000 to 1300000, and a butadiene rubber (b) including a 1,2-syndiotactic polybutadiene crystal and having a melting point of 90 to 140°C of the crystal.</p> |
