A straightening device for welding wire (1) is a straightening device which is provided with two sets of roller groups (13a), (13b) comprising a plurality of straightening rollers (12), and with which bends in welding wire (W) are straightened by passing said welding wire (W) through the two sets of roller groups (13a), (13b). The plurality of straightening rollers (12) forming the roller groups (13a), (13b) are disposed with a certain spacing in the direction in which the welding wire (W) passes, in such a way as to face one another across a straightening path (T) along which said welding wire (W) passes, and the two sets of roller groups (13a), (13b) are disposed in such a way that the directions in which they face across the straightening path (T) are different from one another. By forming the straightening rollers (12) using small-diameter rollers, adverse effects on the welding wire (W) are suppressed, and the welding wire (W) is straightened satisfactorily. |
