The present invention relates to a polarized lens film production apparatus and method, the apparatus comprising: a humidified heat treatment unit for heat-treating a film, coupled to an annular fixing jig, in a humidified atmosphere while transferring same, thereby elongating the film exposed at the center of the fixing jig; a molding unit for molding the elongated film in a predetermined curvature by inserting a molding jig into the fixing jig for fixing the film treated by the humidified heat treatment unit; a heat treatment unit for curing the film by heat treatment while transferring the fixing jig for fixing the film and the molding jig coupled to the fixing jig; and a cutting unit for cutting the film so as to remove an unnecessary part, thereby obtaining a polarized lens film having a curvature. The present invention is configured such that a flat film is heat-treated in a humidified atmosphere while fixed to a ring-shaped jig so that an unfixed part of the film inside the jig is stretched by moisture and heat, and the stretched part is pressed by a pressing unit having a predetermined curvature, then heat-treated and molded so as to correspond to the curvature of an applicable lens, and attached to the lens. Accordingly, the present invention can guarantee an overall uniform elongation, in comparison with the mode of directly adhering a flat film to the surface of a lens in close contact therewith, and thus has the effect of preventing the occurrence of a product defect. |
