Disclosed are a method and a device for compressing/restoring data by using a floating point technique, wherein data are compressed/restored by using a floating point so as to effectively manage a memory. Data are compressed/restored by using a log table, thereby minimizing loss data during compression/restoration. Also, even when compression is performed by using the same bit through a floating point technique, functional deterioration can be prevented. |
