PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry sump type engine capable of performing gas-liquid separation of oil without occupying a large space in a crankcase.SOLUTION: In a dry sump type engine, an oil tank 47 is formed by being surrounded by an intermediate wall 42b, a lower rear wall 42c, a lower left wall, a lower right wall, an upper wall 42a and a bottom plate member 13 of a crankcase 11, and an oil pump 48 has a scavenging pump 83 for recovering oil from an oil pan 46, and the oil recovered by the scavenging pump 83 is discharged to the oil tank 47 from a discharge port 71g. A rib 42j projecting from the upper wall 42a of the oil tank 47 is formed, and the rib 42j is arranged in such a manner of confronting the discharge port 71g. |
