PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify an information processing apparatus to be a client of a change in the state of an information processing apparatus to be a server accurately in real time.SOLUTION: There is provided an information processing system that transmits a request for state notification from a first information processing apparatus to a second information processing apparatus, and transmits a response for the state notification from the second information processing apparatus to the first information processing apparatus, by using a protocol of returning a predetermined response to a request to complete a session for one request, where the second information processing apparatus includes: means for transmitting, when received the request for the state notification from the first information processing apparatus, the header part of the response to the first information processing apparatus; means for transmitting, when a change in the state to be notified has occurred, a part of the body part of the response including the content of the state notification to the first information processing apparatus; and means for transmitting, when the state notification has become unnecessary, the last part of the body part of the response to the first information processing apparatus. |
