PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a secondary battery that secures performance while securing battery capacity of a secondary battery even when conditions of high-temperature aging are disordered.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a secondary battery includes: a first step (STEP-2-5-1) of calculating battery capacity Cof the secondary battery at a point of time of inspection by carrying out the inspection after detecting a high-temperature aging time T or/and a high-temperature aging time J in a high-temperature aging step (STEP-2) deviate from standard ranges; a second step (STEP-2-5-2) of calculating allowable deterioration capacity Cas a deterioration amount of battery capacity which is allowable after the point of time of the inspection on the basis of the battery capacity C; a third step (STEP-2-5-3) of calculating an additional time &Dgr;J of high-temperature aging such that C≤C-C≤Cholds for the difference between the battery capacity Cand the allowable deterioration capacity C, and lower-limit capacity Cand upper-limit capacity C; and a fourth step (STEP-2-6) of additionally carrying out high-temperature aging for the additional time &Dgr;J. |
