<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method configured to output a stable transfer image regardless of smoothness of a transfer material, to obtain an excellent image for a long time, even in a high-temperature/high-humidity and low-temperature/low-humidity environments.SOLUTION: An image forming method uses toner and an intermediate transfer body 200. A surface layer 203 of the intermediate transfer body shows a matrix-domain structure in a cross section in a depth direction thereof. A matrix 203-1 includes binder resin. A domain 203-3 includes perfluoropolyether. A surface of the intermediate transfer body has microhardness of 50 MPa or more. The toner includes a toner particle having wax, and a silica microparticle of a toner particle surface. A primary particle of the silica microparticle has a number average particle diameter of 60-300 nm. The toner surface is covered with the silica microparticle at a coverage X of 15% or more. The toner has a uniaxial yield stress of 2.5 to 3.5 kPa at a maximum consolidation stress of 10.0 kPa.</p> |
