摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to always set an optimum minimum fuel injection interval without considerations to the manufacturing tolerance and degradation of an injector.SOLUTION: On the basis of the same process as a pilot injection amount correction process executed to correct a displacement of a fuel injection amount in pilot injection (S102), two minute injections performed per combustion cycle are repeated a plurality of times while gradually reducing an injection interval between the two minute injections from a preset interval (S108, S110), it is determined whether an instruction value of a minute injection amount exceeds an estimated value whenever the two minute injections are performed (S112), the injection interval between the minute injections just before the current set of minute injections is set as a learning value (S114) if it is determined that the estimated value of the minute injection amount exceeds the instruction value, and an optimal value of the minimum fuel injection interval can be updated and set by repeating S114.</p>
