PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element and a photoelectric conversion element manufacturing method, which can improve photoelectric conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element comprises: a first conductive layer 12; a second conductive layer 15 opposite to and at a distance from the first conductive layer 12; a photoelectric conversion layer 13 on the first conductive layer 13; and a charge transport layer 14 between the first conductive layer 12 and the second conductive layer 15. The photoelectric conversion layer 13 includes: a porous semiconductor layer; a photosensitizer on a first region of a surface of the porous semiconductor layer; and a coated layer on a second region of the surface of the porous semiconductor layer different from the first region. |
