The invention relates to a method for cleaning a bundle of rods or tubes immersed in a liquid. Said method consists of: - spraying a cleaning liquid onto the bundle by causing a stream of cleaning liquid to rotate such that the wall formed by the rotating stream diverges; - forming a gas current that surrounds at least part of the cleaning liquid stream; and - moving the rotating liquid stream and the gas current surrounding it relative to the bundle.
