The present invention relates to a lens for a light emitting device used for a display and illumination, a backlight unit, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention includes a lens body which includes a light input part which is concave on the center of the bottom side thereof, a flat bottom part on a bottom frame, and a light output part on the upper side thereof, and a micro protrusion part which is formed on the flat bottom part of the lens body and is formed with a micrometer unit to reflect or scatter at least part of light which progresses from the inner side of the lens body in the direction of the bottom part.
