If the coding unit size is equal to the largest coding unit size, the method associates the coding unit with a plurality 10 of prediction units by partitioning the coding unit into a plurality of prediction units, and decodes a plurality of intra-block copy block vectors for the coding unit, each of the intra block copy block vectors corresponding to a prediction unit of the plurality of prediction units.
