PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mountability of an exhaust emission control device by enhancing the degree of freedom in the layout of a sensor, such as a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 6 (sensor) is mounted in a range from an output side end in a casing 1 holding an oxidation catalyst (exhaust emission control catalyst) to a dispersion plate 3. The dispersion plate 3 is provided with an air introduction opening 8 larger than an air dissipation hole 3a so that the flow of exhaust gas 4 can be guided toward a sensing element 6a of the temperature sensor 6.
