PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material defibration device that prevents multi feeding of materials supplied from a material supply part.SOLUTION: The device has: a supply part that is loaded with materials and supplies them; a detection part that detects that the plurality of materials are to be supplied together, the detection performed prior to their supply; a crushing part that crushes the materials supplied from the supply part; and a defibration part that defibrates the crushed materials.
