An array substrate, a preparation method therefor and a display device. The array substrate comprises a base substrate (1), and a thin film transistor unit (2), a color film (4) and a flat protective layer (3) located on the base substrate (1). The flat protective layer (3) is electrically connected to a drain electrode (25) of the thin film transistor unit (2). The flat protective layer (3) is electrically conductive. The present array substrate has a simplified array substrate layer structure, and the difficulty of preparing the array substrate can be reduced, thereby increasing the production yield of the array substrate.
