POWER MODULATED ENDOMETRIAL LINING TISSUE ABLATION

A system for performing an endometrial lining ablation procedure includes a radiofrequency (RF) generator operatively coupled with a controller programmed or otherwise configured to (i) cause the RF generator to deliver RF power to endometrial lining tissue of a uterine cavity, and (ii) modulate the delivered power so that a measured impedance of the endometrial lining tissue tracks a target impedance derived from a function that approximates a preferred endometrial lining tissue ablation impedance curve as a function of time.
