A digital broadcast receiver (3) that can record a digital broadcast program is provided with the following: an information extraction unit (12) that, in accordance with a broadcast program recording instruction, receives broadcast signals and extracts application control information; an application acquisition control unit (34) that acquires an application in accordance with all application acquisition destination information included in the extracted application control information and within an application boundary; and a recording/playback control unit (37) that causes a recording device to store broadcast program data to be recorded and the acquired application.</p> |
