Disclosed is an air conditioner having a safety grill in an air inlet and an air outlet of a device body. The disclosed air conditioner comprises: the device body; an opening located in the device body, and having a path in which air is ventilated between the inside and the outside of the device body; a grill cover attached and detached on the device body to cover the opening; and a safety grill formed to cover the opening, having a plurality of ventilation holes, and expanding the surface of the ventilation hole if the grill cover is installed in the device body. The air conditioner secures safety since the safety grill is densely formed when the grill cover is removed from the device body. The size of the ventilation hole of the safety grill is expanded if the grill cover is installed in the device body. Accordingly, resistance to air flow is reduced, and air breathing and discharge function of the device is improved. |
