The present invention relates to an austenite-based stainless steel for a molten carbonate fuel cell. Provided is the austenite-based stainless steel comprising: 0.09 wt% or less of C; 2.0 wt% or less of Si; 2.0 wt% or less of Mn; 21-23 wt% of Cr; 10-12 wt% of Ni; 0.1-0.5 wt% of Nb; 0.25 wt% or less of N; 0.2-0.8 wt% of W; 0.01 wt% of B; and the remainder consisting of Fe and impurities, wherein the weight of corrosion products generated by immersion in molten carbonate is 50 mg/cm^2cm^2 or smaller.
