The present invention relates to martensitic stainless steel having excellent corrosion resistance and processability by optimizing the size and distribution of chromium carbide distributed in microstructures; and to a manufacturing method thereof. The martensitic stainless steel according to an embodiment of the present invention has 80/100μm^2 or more of chromium carbide distributed in the structure of the martensitic stainless steel containing 0.60 to 0.70 wt% of C and 0.5 to 2 wt% of Cu.
