PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding device and a molding method each enabling reduction in load accumulated on a driving motor as performing molding in a continuous molding cycle.SOLUTION: A molding device 10 includes: a plurality of driving motors 41, 42; a plurality of hydraulic pumps 43, 44; a plurality of hydraulic circuits 51, 52; a switch valve 53 switching the hydraulic circuits 51, 52; and a hydraulic driving device 34 driven by hydraulic oil supplied from the hydraulic pumps 43, 44. A control part 50 drives only at least one of the driving motors 41, 42 during a prescribed period of time in each of the molding cycles, and stops another of the drive motors 41, 42, and operates the hydraulic driving device 34 by only the driven driving motors 41, 42. The driving motors 41, 42 driven during a prescribed period of time are periodically changed for each of the molding cycles. |
