PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic shelf label system and a communications method thereof.SOLUTION: The electronic shelf label system may include: a near field communications (NFC) card apparatus including an NFC chip having an identification ID and performing purchase reservation through NFC communications; a plurality of electronic tags including NFC chips and wirelessly transmitting purchase reservation information including the identification ID of the NFC card apparatus and product information when the purchase reservation from the NFC card apparatus through the NFC communications is present; and a management apparatus providing the product information to each of the plurality of electronic tags, receiving transmission of the purchase reservation information from the electronic tag, and managing the purchase reservation information for each identification ID included in the purchase reservation information.
