<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool equipped with a numerical controller, capable of estimating the position of center of gravity of the machine tool with a simple method.SOLUTION: Storage means of a numerical controller stores therein weights of a fixed portion and movable portion of the machine tool and a position of center of gravity of the machine tool, in a machine tool equipped with the numerical controller. An overall position of center of gravity of a combination of the machine tool and a loaded article is calculated using the weights and the center of gravity of the machine tool, a weight and a position of center of gravity of the loaded article, and a relative position of the movable portion of the machine tool. It is thereby possible to grasp the overall weight and the overall position of center of gravity of the combination of the machine tool and the loaded article, so that operation with a stable attitude can be ensured.</p> |
