<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an amphiphilic polymer, which is excellent in suppressing foaming when distilling off a hydrophilic solvent and capable of suppressing an amount of steam introduced.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an amphiphilic polymer, comprising: a polymerization step of obtaining an amphiphilic polymer solution in a hydrophilic solvent by polymerizing a hydrophilic monomer and a hydrophobic monomer in the presence of a hydrophilic solvent; and a step of distilling off the solvent where water is added to the amphiphilic polymer solution in a hydrophilic solvent, adjusting the viscosity of the amphiphilic polymer solution in a mixed solvent including water and a hydrophilic solvent to be 10,000 mPa s or more and 300,000 mPa s or less, and thereafter, while introducing steam into the amphiphilic polymer solution in the mixed solvent, the hydrophilic solvent is distilled off at a temperature equal to or lower than a boiling point of the hydrophilic solvent at 0.1 Mpa.</p> |
