CORRELATING WEB TRAFFIC EVENTS TO A WEB PAGE SESSION

Correlating, in a system for conveying web content to a plurality of user terminals, web traffic events to a web page session, involving an inspecting of web traffic involved in conveying the web content toward the user terminals for extracting web traffic events; an associating of the extracted web traffic events to one of said user terminals and to one of a plurality of event types; a building of a statistic for values indicating times between two consecutive web traffic events that are associated to the same user terminal; a calculating, from said statistic, of a deviation for a pair of event types; and a correlating of said web traffic events to a web page session based on said deviation.
