<p>A positioning method and device. The method comprises: recognizing a positioning identifier in an image which is acquired in real time (100); according to a recognition result of the positioning identifier, determining a position of a mobile terminal relative to the positioning identifier (110); acquiring a geographical position of the positioning identifier (120); and according to the geographical position of the positioning identifier and the position of the mobile terminal relative to the positioning identifier, determining a current geographical position of the mobile terminal (130). When a GPS positioning system cannot be used, the mobile terminal can be positioned using the method. Since the positioning identifier is pre-set, an accurate position of the positioning identifier can be acquired, while an error of the position of the mobile terminal relative to the positioning identifier, which is obtained through calculation, is far less than a navigation deviation of the GPS positioning system. Therefore, the accuracy of the geographical position of the mobile terminal determined via the method is far higher than the accuracy of positioning by the GPS positioning system.</p> |
