An electromotive seat system for a self-driving vehicle and a control method thereof are disclosed. The electromotive seat system for a self-driving vehicle, equipped with a self-driving control system mounted thereon to control a vehicle instead of a driver, according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a seat driving part for supporting the horizontal movement and rotating operation of the electromotive seat of a driver and an electromotive seat next to the driver of the self-driving vehicle; a driving screen display part installed on the electromotive seat of the driver and displaying the forward image of the vehicle so that the driver can grasp a forward driving situation in all directions when the electromotive seat of the driver rotates; a vehicle drive operating part installed on the electromotive seat of the driver and comprises a user interface for inputting vehicle operation signals in all directions when the electromotive seat of the driver rotates; and a signal transmitting and receiving part connected to the self-driving control system via wired or wireless communication to transmit and receive information according to the control of the self-driving mode of the vehicle.
