PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent electrode that has a sufficient conductivity and a sufficient light-transmitting property, and also has an excellent electrode life under a constant current and a high-temperature storage.SOLUTION: A transparent electrode (1) has a conductive layer (1b), and an intermediate layer (1a) provided adjacent to the conductive layer (1b). The conductive layer (1b) comprises one metal element selected from copper, gold and platinum as the main component. The intermediate layer (1a) contains an organic compound with a LUMO energy level in the range of -2.2 to -1.6 eV. |
