PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a vehicle battery power cutoff device separately detecting an overcurrent, an abnormal current, a short-circuit current that may occur for various reasons during vehicle traveling, cutting off battery power output, and providing improvement in vehicle safety.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery power cutoff device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a crash detection unit detecting a crash during vehicle traveling and an impact quantity by the crash; a battery sensor detecting an output current amount of a battery; a control unit analyzing the impact quantity provided by the crash detection unit and the battery output current amount provided by the battery sensor, determining whether a crash current, a short-circuit current or an overcurrent occurs, and executing a power cutoff control; and a switch controlled by the control unit to cut off battery power supplied to a large-capacity load element. |
