PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding catheter capable of performing a safe and appropriate ablation by improving engagement force with a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A guiding catheter 10 for guiding an ablation catheter 100 for ablating the renal sympathetic nerve RN from the interior of the renal artery RA, comprises: a tubular part 20 having a lumen 21 for guiding the ablation catheter 100; an expansion part 50 that is formed annularly, has an inner edge part 51 connected to the outer peripheral surface of the tubular part 20 and an outer edge part 52 being expandable radially outward, and can cover an entrance of the renal artery RA in the descending aorta A; an outer tube 40 axially movable with respect to the tubular part 20; and a support part 60 that is disposed between the outer tube 40 and the expansion part 50, expands the expansion part 50 by movement in one direction along the axial direction of the outer tube 40, and contracts the expansion part 50 by the movement in the other direction. |
